Inspired by the culture and everyday life of El Salvador, AWAKEN follows Adri, a painter whose routine has dulled her spark. A single red door marks the threshold between that world and a surreal dreamscape beyond it. Guiding her is the White Bird, foolish and playful, like a child hiding behind a mask. A small, fading flower blossoms into a radiant garden of towering yellow blooms over the course of the show, tracking Adri’s inner growth. Circus, dance, theatre, and live music.
