Circus EVO’s Latest International Creation

Evolving the Art of Acrobatics
At Circus EVO, we’re continuing our mission to redefine what circus can be—fusing physical innovation, human storytelling, and global collaboration.

This October, we premiered our newest international project, Awaken, at Teatro Presidente in the capital of El Salvador. Over the course of one month, we worked alongside local Salvadoran artists and collaborators from four different countries, developing a powerful cross-cultural performance that celebrated renewal, unity, and transformation through movement.

The show featured an original live score composed and performed by Bella Nona (U.S.) and Ale Pinto (El Salvador), bringing an authentic and emotional soundscape to life. One of the highlights of the production was our Human Counterweight Chinese Pole system — a unique Circus EVO innovation featuring a 21-foot pole where two artists use each other’s weight to soar and suspend in midair, revealing the mechanics of flight right before the audience’s eyes.

With projects like Awaken, Circus EVO continues to push the boundaries of contemporary circus — creating work that connects across cultures, inspires audiences, and reimagines what is possible on stage.
