Carmina Burana

Carmina Burana

Special Project
For theaters that can host aerial, choir, symphony/orchestra.

Inspired by Carl Orff’s 1935–1936 cantata, which draws from 24 medieval poems discovered in a 13th- century Bavarian monastery, Caroline Calouche transforms the work’s four sections—O Fortuna Springtime, In the Tavern , and The Court of Love — into a visceral, physical theatrical experience through aerial dance, cirque, and athletic choreography with an orchestra and choir. This is an unforgettable shared experience of laughter, desire, vulnerability, and the mysteries that connect us all.
