In May 2004, eight Texas kids were selected as members of the new pop/hip-hop recording group Savvy. Since that time the three boys and five girls, who auditioned along side 400 other kids during a nationwide talent search, have become a solid performing and recording group with universal appeal. Savvy’s mission is to record pop music with clear lyrics and fun messages, as well as entertain audiences with the latest hip-hop dance moves-all without compromising integrity. So listen up out there, Savvy is providing some flavorful and powerful music with dance beats worthy of listening to. And furthermore, they are serving as role models who are appropriate for kids to follow. Parents can relax about the music that is acceptable for their kids to listen to, and kids finally have cool music to listen to that has passed the “parent test.” Plus the diversity among the Savvy group members, along with their varying backgrounds, lends universal appeal and ensures that kids from all over the globe will be able to identify with any one of the Savvy crew.
